SendClaim was founded in 1998 by a couple of geeks in a back room (It was even smoky back then..) as a translation service for institutional UB-92 electronic claims in the Tennessee area. With the advent of HIPAA and the ever increasing complexity of medical billing requirements, we prepared for a new approach. In partnership with Rebecca Landry we developed our first HIPAA compliant ANSI claim management tool with the goal of providing the most capable and flexible solution on the market.
With the release of ClaimManager we acheived that goal and more. The product gained wide acceptance with resellers of Medisoft and Lytec, providing their customers with a critical tool in managing the business of healthcare and allowing those resellers to expand their customer base. With the growth of our operations we consolidated to our current location in the heart of Cajun country, Lafayette Louisiana.
Over the years SendClaim has grown and changed, constantly striving to improve the quality of our products and services. Claim Manager is in use in over 2,000 locations, serving providers in every state, processing thousands of claims and payments every day for all types of medical practices.
